The Design
The Tachyon "Classic" is a motorsports-inspired timepiece designed to authentically replicate the experience of a vehicle's tachometer. It features a jumping hour display and a 270-degree retrograde minute hand that goes back to zero once it hits the 60 minutes. Housed in a 40mm 316L stainless steel case protected by a durable DLC coating, the watch utilizes an AR-coated sapphire crystal and is water-resistant to 50 meters. Its matte black dial pays homage to 90s sports car aesthetics with subtle, ghosted turn indicators, and Japanese luminous paint specifically tuned to mimic a cluster's night glow. The timepiece is paired with a full-grain cow leather rally strap available in brown or black with red contrast stitching.

Off the shelf rally straps were stiff and uncomfortable, so we made our own with the softest full-grain hide we could get.
We went with a field style case in order to make something durable, comfortable, and practical. The beauty is in the dial and movement, so I wanted the case to let it shine.
