The Journey

A long time ago...

I know I'm not an artist. I drew these while bored in class, I think I was explaining the design to a friend and ended up just drawing it. My initial concept was a 12 hour long sweep, not the tradition hour long sweep we went with.

January 2026 - Conceptualization

A week before I graduated from college, I sold my car to a Tag Heuer enthusiast in Maryland. Looking into his collection, I was reminded of my concept and decided to see if it were possible. I made real drawings, HTML artifacts to prove the movement, and started talking to factories.

March 2026 - Designing

Talking with factories wasn't too difficult with my industrial engineering experience, but it quickly became evident that my 12 hour sweep movement wasn't affordable to produce. I switched to a more traditional retrograde movement and built the 3D models off that. This is also when I ended my search for an engineering job.

April 2026 - The Launch

After paying the manufacturing deposit, I launched officially on my birthday, April 17th. With the help of an NCSU classmate, we made cinematic renders to begin promoting with.

August 2026 - Assembly

As more and more components arrive, we are preparing the first production units to be shipped out at the end of August.
